Sign-Ups for This Year's Festivids Have Begun!

festivids is an annual small-fandom giftvid exchange. It's sort of like a Secret Santa for vids, modeled on the Yuletide small fandom fic exchange. Vidders sign up by selecting fandoms from this list that they would like to receive, and that they can offer to others. Each fandom on the list is a "small" fandom, i.e., one where there are fewer than 100 vids. The mods then match offers with requests, and distribute a secret vid assignment to each vidder. The vids are posted anonymously in January, and after two weeks, the identities of the vidders are revealed. Last year's vids are posted here.

Sign-ups run through October 15. You can sign up at this site and you can read a more detailed explanation of the rules here. You should also feel free to either drop a comment, or email the festivids mods at festivids at gmail dot com, to ask any questions. We really hope you'll consider signing up; it's terrific fun and there are plenty of fandoms to choose from. Vidders of all experience levels are welcome to participate.
