"Boys Over Flowers" is a Korean romantic comedy about the F4, a quartet of rich and handsome heirs, currently seniors in high school, and the poor girl who obtains a scholarship to the school. F4's reputation is for major bullying and, when they can't break the new girl, they adopt her as the group mascot, with 2 of the 4 falling for her. She's the catalyst toward their maturation. Parents get a bad rap in this drama. The only reason the girl's parents aren't the worst is that the F4 leader's mother would make Cruella de Vil look like Mary Poppins.
