Newbie: I'm a newcomer to vidding and wondered if I could have advice to learn the ropes.

Hello! I think I may be very late to the party, but I'd like to get into vidding. I've made two vids so far (they're here) and I'd like some advice on how to get involved with the community, how to improve my vidding, what etiquette and protocols are used, and so on. I plan on making another tonight, although I haven't decided what fandom. If someone could help me learn the ropes that'd be lovely.

Hi! I'm very much interested in getting deeper into vidding, so thank you. I think I have the Discord link via festivids. I don't have Slack but if that community's any more active than the Discord, feel free to point me there.

Could you look at the vids I've already done and give me any tips? I was careful to synchronise the music and the video as closely as I could.
