I posted these to the LJ vidding comm a while back, but since I've finally gotten myself sorted here on DW, I thought this might be relevant and hope is okay to post here -
It's a series of tutorials I made about vidding on Linux using entirely open source software, focusing on Cinelerra as the editing software. It's a very versatile and capable editing programme, but unfortunately not very userfriendly. The linked tutorials cover source preparation, very basic editing and more complex effects.
