Request for recs for Vidukon show

I'm going to be running a vidshow at this year's Vidukon on the theme of Constructed Realities, and would be very grateful for any recs! I'm thinking along the lines of the following:

-AU vids
-Crossover vids
-Vids for fic
-Vids for books/podcasts with no canon visual source
-Fake trailers that cast actual shows in a whole new light
-Fake trailers for entirely non-existent shows
-Vids that use a lot of manips
-Crack-tastic vids that use the source to tell an entirely different story

…etc. If any vids spring to mind, I'd love to hear about them! Please come by my journal and let me know :-)

Thank you! I'm not sure the link to the Monty Python/Star Trek mashup is to the original; that is, it may not be the vidder's page that it's on. But I enjoy reccing things I love.

I made a book vid (commissioned by the author) where I was provided a lightbox of stock video and still footage representing the characters and themes in the book, and a song she had licenced from the artist. It was an extremely interesting exercise, especially having to add movement to all the still images. Lots of panning going on, lol.

Thanks! It was certainly an interesting project, although I wished some of the source could have been of better quality :o)
