Sungkyunkwan Scandal is a women's lib, Korean drama set in the Joseon era. Having eavesdropped on the lessons of her brother before her father's death, Kim Yoon Hee takes on the task of earning money to buy her brother's medicine. When she's tricked into applying to the Sungkyunkwan school for future officials, it's worth her life and that of her family's lives if she's discovered, the education of women being then prohibited. A traditional college drama of bullying and first loves set in an historical context. 20 episodes.

One of my favorite Asian dramas. Acting is superb and the mystery of who killed the previous king brings out the conflicts between the Sungkyunkwan sons and their official fathers.

Thru a tale of misunderstandings, Jae Seon, the boy Sol Ah loves, thinks that Sol Ah has abandoned a kitten and, abandoned often as a child, he pulls away from her. But when a new girlfriend returns the rescued cat 10 years later, Jae Seon reluctantly allows Sol Ah to keep it until he can find it a new home, allergies preventing him from keeping it himself. And that’s when the cat discovers that, when he’s with Sol Ah, he can become human. As misunderstandings resolve, a love triangle complicates the situation.

Meow, the Secret Boy, is essentially a 2020 Korean drama art film. I'm most reminded of Walter Farley's The Black Stallion. The cat is played by "L", a famous Korean boy-band star.
