Every few years, the digital rights management exemptions are reviewed by the Library of Congress. A few years back the OTW helped secure the right for vidders to break digital encryption on DVDs in order to make vids.
They now need help tracking down examples of vids that use zooms, color correction, speeding up/slowing down, extreme closeups, cropping etc.. particularly vids where these techniques are essential to the meaning of a vid. They need these examples in order to educate others (1) why we need access to digital copies of TV shows and movies and (2) why we need the ability to make changes to the source in order to make the kind of vids we make (in other words, not passive mindless consumer promotional trailers but vids that tell a story, evoke an emotional response.)
