"My Love from the Star" is a Korean drama which tells the story of an alien who has been on earth for 400 years without making an attachment but just before he must return, he falls for an actress. She doesn't want him to leave but he'll die if he stays, so she has to accept it. He leaves and works at returning for minutes at a time until, finally, he manages to stay for longer and longer times. Gives a new meaning to "long distance relationship."
The song, Love Always Runs Away, is from "Young Lady and Gentleman" which wins my vote for Worst Asian Drama EVER. The song, however, is wonderful. This was an experiment. The song is in Korean but all the translations I've seen were jarring in trying to read words that didn't match the syllables or stress I was hearing. So using the various translations to get a notion of how much leeway was allowed in translating, I tried my hand at subtitling to get something in English which was consistent with the Korean in stressed and unstressed syllables.
It's been 11 months since I've made a video, so apologies if I'm doing something wrong in my posting.
