Vid exporting help?

I'm attempting to get my festivids vid into FLV format that is under 50MB and can't seem to accomplish it without the vid looking like crap.

I'm using ffmpegX - which is an application I've only used once (to format for a con vid, so for totally different purpose).

Does anyone have any pointers?
I normally export from FCE to *.mov format and use MPEG Streamclip to make *.mp4 (or *.avi) and don't see a *.flv option in MPEG Streamclip but maybe I'm missing something simple

Unfortunately, I can't help with the .flv thing - and I'm sorry for the bother! - but just fyi, the site will accept both .avi and .mp4, if you continue to have trouble.

I use MPEG Streamclip to make FLVs and find that it gives me good enough quality for my needs, which are usually importing into Prezi for teaching and giving presentations. I find it in file -> Other Formats -> Flash Video (FLV); the Options tab gives quality options. I have a Mac, and I did at one point have a full version of Flash installed, but I uninstalled it a while back and the converstion in Streamclip still seems to work...

You could use eRightSoft's SUPER © to convert. (Scroll all the way down for the link and then scroll all the way down again to access the download link.) [personal profile] rhoboat has a nice tutorial for it.
