Ripping tools, DRM, and Mac High Sierra OS

Late last year my venerable desktop computer died, taking with it the tools that I'd long used to get sources for vids, WinDVD Ripper for Mac for dvds and Tune4Mac for iTunes sources. I'm now using my slightly newer Macbook Air and while I've grown used to the the smaller screen and FCP X, I found that the old workhorse software is incompatible with the newer Mac OS. I think WinDVD Ripper recently came out with an updated version that will work, but I still have no idea what to use for the stuff I've purchased through iTunes over the years.

Any idea of software that will do the trick and not be thwarted by DRM?
